Expectations of Membership
All members are expected to participate in the Progressive Experience.
Which is to…
• Experience God through Worship by regularly attending and actively participating in worship services.
• Experience God through the Word by attending and actively participating in one of Progressive’s bible studies.
• Experience God through Small groups by joining a small group community to cultivate you spiritual life.
• Experience God through Service by serving the local body and the community through one of our service ministries.

Preparing for Membership
- Attend the Pre-Membership Orientation Class*
The purpose of this class is to provide clarity concerning the core beliefs of the Progressive Community Church before you join. The topics that will be covered are as follows; salvation, baptism, communion, church statements and Progressive membership. At the end of this class you will be given the opportunity to sign a covenant agreement to unite with Progressive.*This class must be completed before you become a member of Progressive.
How to Join
- Sign the Progressive Membership Covenant
At the conclusion of the Pre-Membership Orientation Class, you will be given the opportunity to sign a covenant agreement to unite with Progressive. The signing of the agreement signifies your agreement with Progressive's statements, strategy, and structure.
After you become a Member
- 5th Sunday Fellowship
After becoming a member you will be asked to attend our 5th Sunday fellowship for all new members. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide an opportunity for new members as well as the staff and leadership of the church to get acquainted with one another.
- New Membership Core*
As a new member, it is important that you attend the New Membership series of classes that are structured to help new members become stronger in their spiritual walk. These classes take place every Sunday. There are 9 sessions total that should be completed within 9 weeks.
*These classes must be completed before you can serve in ministry at Progressive.
